In the summer of 1993, Professor Samuel P. Huntington wrote an article in Foreign Affairs, in which he introduced his theory about post-Cold War conflicts. He called this the clash of civilizations. In 1996, he wrote a book with that title. Both his article and his book have given rise to much discussion about the future of international relations.

Final Thesis

Because of Huntingtons provocative theory and because of the possible influence on (future) American foreign policy, having Huntington as the subject of my final thesis seemed interesting. And so it was. If you can read Microsoft Word'97 files, you can read my thesis in Dutch (685 Kb).
